Did I ever share with you...

...the quilt I made for Trinity a while back? It was done in fabrics that she picked from my sewing closet, beautiful sustainable and soft bamboo velour and lined with a bamboo fleece. I LOVE it...It is the perfect size for the car and is so nice to snuggle. I am working on a QUEEN size quilt out of her old baby clothes now, but SHHH, it's for her Hope Chest so don't spill the beans!

OK Little miss handy with the sewing... I've been wanting to do the same with Jillian's old clothes and blankets forever, but I can't bring myself to cut up her clothes. *wipes tear* I get teary eyed just THINKING about cutting them. *digs toe in dirt* maybe YOU Could help me with this project..you know since you're doing one too?? :o) *blink blink*

Thanks!

You are a dork Jennifer. Just keep the really special ones (birthdays, first "bring me home outfit" etc.) then take the others and cut them, start with the least important and work your way up. You will have to figure out what size squares you want. The one I am making Trinity has 6 " squares and I added white muslin to set off the many different patterned clothes. I can help you, no worries.

*wipes tears* but I can't... I just can't cut them. LOL! I'm sure once the first one is cut it will be no problem! it's just... *lip quivers* the first cut that gets me... ... so anyway... *sniffs* thanks for the advice.. we'll need to have a "quilt" party and just cut and gab and cut and have good time.
